Once you have downloaded and enabled the Tickets App, you can use the Point of Sale feature to sell tickets and store items.
We have integrated with Square to collect purchases through our Tickets App. In order to utilize this integration, you must create a Square account. All purchases made using the square device will be processed through Square, but they will display in your ticket reports in your Event Dashboard (which is explained under the Reporting section of this guide). If you need assistance for setting up your Square account, a link to the Square Support Center can be found here.
As a best practice, we recommend setting up this feature on devices (iOS and Android phones or tablets) that will be used primarily for on-site purchases. For example, this may be used by volunteer(s) at booths at the event that are reserved for tickets purchases.
Follow the steps below to begin taking purchases through the app.
Enable Sales Tax for Tickets App
Before you begin selling tickets through your Tickets App, you can enable self-remitted sales tax for your BYO merchant ticket app purchases under Financial >> Sales Tax >> Sales Tax Setup in your Event Dashboard:
When this is enabled, we will generate a report of taxes that you owe. The taxes will go into your merchant account and you are responsible to pay it to the respective jurisdictions.

The attendee can then use their card to pay through the connected Square reader, you can allow them to manually enter their credit card, or you can indicate that you have accepted cash. The purchaser can decide how they would like to receive their receipt, and the sale is completed:
Once you are on the ticket confirmation page, you can click the +New Purchase button at the top-right of the screen to start a new purchase:
Reporting
Purchases made through the Tickets App will show under your Ticket Purchases (Reports >> Tickets Purchased) and Ticket List (Reports >> Individual Tickets) in the Event Dashboard. Purchases made made by inputting credit card information will display the same as a purchases made through your event website:
Purchases made through Square will display slightly differently. They will not display any personal information about the purchaser, and they will have Square Payment transaction information in the Payment Info column:
