If the event has turned on Ticket Transfers, you can transfer your own tickets to a different ticket group and ticket type using the confirmation email.
Follow the steps below to complete your ticket transfers.
1. From the ticket confirmation email, click on “Manage Tickets.”
Note: If you no longer have your confirmation email, you can follow these steps to resend your confirmation email.
Once you click Manage Tickets, you will be directed to input the verification code provided in the confirmation email (noted in the screenshot above). Next, click Verify Access.
The ticket(s) will then appear after a successful submission of the verification code.
2. Select the new ticket.
From the drop-down menus, change the ticket group and the ticket type. Once the options are selected, click Transfer Tickets.
Note: In this example, the ticket group is the date and the ticket type is either VIP or General Admission.
You can use the Quick Fill button to transfer multiple tickets to the same ticket group and ticket type at the same time.
Select the ticket group and ticket type to transfer all you tickets to and click Apply.
3. Checkout
If you are not logged into your RunSignup account, you will need to enter your information prior to checking out.
If the event is charging a fee for transfers or requiring that ticket purchasers pay the price difference between transferred tickets, that will show in the checkout cart. If not, you will see an event transfer credit applied to make the cost of the new ticket $0:
A confirmation email with the details of the new ticket transferred will automatically be sent to the ticket holder. A new QR code and a purchase summary showing the event transfer credit will be included in the confirmation email.
Use your new confirmation email for checkin at the event!
