Ticket Caps

Modified on 11 February

You can set up simple ticket caps on the Event Dashboard under Tickets >> Caps >> Ticket Caps. This lets you enter a simple maximum number of tickets available for each ticket:

You can also set combined ticket caps under Tickets >> Caps >> Cross Ticket Caps. Click Add Another Cap, enter a value, then select the tickets included in the cap. This limits the total combined tickets sold of the tickets included in the cap:

Once you have enabled Advanced Tickets, there are advanced ticket cap options:

Advanced Caps: Multi-Ticket Caps

You can set limits across ticket levels within each group. This setting is in under Tickets >> Caps >> Multi-Ticket in the event dashboard. Click Add Another Cap, enter a value, and select the ticket levels included in the cap. This limits the combined tickets for each ticket level included:

Advanced Caps: Ticket Group Caps

You can set caps on each ticket group in the event dashboard under Tickets >> Caps >> Ticket Group Caps. This limits the combined tickets purchased at each ticket level for that group:

Advanced Caps: Cross Ticket Group Caps

You can create caps across ticket groups in the event dashboard under Tickets >> Caps >> Cross Ticket Group Caps. Click Add Another Cap, enter a value, and select the ticket groups you would like to include in this cap. This limits the combined number of tickets sold for the groups included:

Display Options

If you want to feature the tickets remaining for your available tickets, you can do so under Event >> Purchase Settings >> Settings in your event dashboard. You now have two different display options:

Wrap in tooltip: Hide the number of tickets and show the details in a tooltip. This is useful when you are using advanced ticket caps across different ticket types and groups.

Always show simple information: Show the number of tickets per ticket type. This is best when you have simple caps set up per ticket.
