You can set the From and Reply To email addresses and names for Transactional and Marketing/Promotional emails under Email >> Email Settings:
Note: Transactional emails are emails you send because of a specific action a person did. For example, you could send a pre-event email for check in to all ticket purchasers. Marketing/Promotional emails are used for promotion and engagement with your customers. For example, you could send emails to past attendees to encourage them to sign up for your upcoming events.
Prior to sending an email from your Ticket Event, you must configure these Email Settings. You can also get to this page by going to any page under the Email tab, and clicking the orange Set Up Email Button:
Note: Once you have confirmed and saved your Email Settings once, you will not see this message again However, you can go back and adjust these settings under Email >> Email Settings.
By default, the names will be the name of the event. The default email addresses will be noreply@ticketsignup.io, noreply@givesignup.org or noreply@runsignup.com. The domain (after the "noreply@") of the default email address will be consistent with the Preferred Domain that you set under Event >> Basic Info.
You can change the From and Reply To names and the Reply To email addresses for each of these emails. Note: You cannot change the From email address for either of these email types.
Once you have confirmed your email settings are correct, click the blue Save Settings button at the bottom of the page.
Now you are ready to begin sending an email!
