Donation Attributions and Designations

Donation Attributions (On Behalf Of Options)

With a Donation Attribution, a donor will be able to indicate who or what their donation honors. During setup, you may select from four common attribution phrases or create your own. The ability to customize this point in the donation path is especially appealing for ticketed events with a strong charitable focus.

To begin this setup, head to your event's Dashboard; then select Donations >> Donation Setup >> Attribution Settings to select the phrases or create the text that best suits your event or charity:

Once saved, this is how it will appear in on the Donation page.  The ticket purchaser/donor will be presented with options (including the option to remain anonymous) in a dropdown menu.

Donation Use Designations

You also have the option to designate Donation Use Designations so donors may select a specific fund or project for your charitable cause.  In the example below, two distinct funds are being featured.

This setup takes place in the same location in your event Dashboard; selecting Donations >> Donation Setup >> Attribution Settings.  With Donation Use Designations, begin by selecting Add A New Use Designation (orange button) and then enter a title or short description and additional details if necessary.

Note that even with multiple designations, all donations will still be directed the singular payment account that has been setup for donations.  It will be the responsibility of the nonprofit to reconcile donation-designations after receiving payment from TicketSignup.

This is how Donation Use Designations will appear on the Donation page...

...notice how the details you've added during setup appear to the donor:
